Just a month after ‘The Real’ panel member Amanda Seales shockingly announced her departure from the EMMY-winning talk show (as we reported here), panel original – Tamera Mowry-Housley – is following suit.

Taking to Instagram Monday (July 13), the 42-year-old shared:
“For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real. The friendships that I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve had the blessing to interview have changed my life for the better,” she began her statement. “I’m so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy. However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announced that I am moving on from The Real,” she continued.
She concluded:
“To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all of me. Sisters forever. I’ll be rooting for you, as I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life.” [source]
Damn. I would had preferred if Loni left. I loved Tamera on the show. A huge chunk of the shows heart will be missing.
Jeannie, Adrienne and Loni are not reason to tune in….
They better find some good names to fill Tamera and Amanda’s spot
Proud of all they have accomplished! People didn’t think the show alas and they all contributed in such a beautiful way, great job ladies no matter what I’m so proud of them
Tamera doesn’t need that show. She is not new money. She earns her coins from investments. Period.

Must have something to do with what her husband said about Trayvon
This was unexpected, however the comments her husband made about Trayvon were disgusting. With this being an election year I wonder if this was influential in her discussion, or if she was renegotiating her contract and the powers that be did not want to pay up. Whatever the case it’s time for the panel to change.
She no longer fit the show’s narrative. It was hard watching her cringe n be silent when she should’ve been speaking up. Maybe Fox News is hiring
The producers should have given Tamera what she wanted to retain her. Sorry to say this show will not last without her. My elderly mother who is a true fan has said she won’t be watching. Tamera is like a daughter to her. Tamera brought balance to the panel.
Tamera, when one door closes another one opens. You will do fabulously wherever you land. My mother and I have followed you and Tia since you were little girls. You are a class act. Wishing you all the best.
